Ability to use a gif in a banner or header

Right now, gifs can only be used in place of square photos. We would like the ability to use a gif in the header section.

Clarified that gifs do work, but it was not clear they were an option for all of the placeholders--great feedback for us!

Following up on this, as I am able to add gifs to headers. Would love to know if it's not working for you--or if perhaps it's not clear that it's an option?
