Use duplicate email addresses for uploaded .csv files (so that one person receives the same message with different data during personalized/customized sends.
From a team member, "Is there a way to bypass removing duplicates from a CSV file? That’s the root issue we were having is we want to send multiple emails to the same email address and PM kept deleting the duplicate emails."
This could be done via CSV Import configuration in the options panel. A simple checkbox "Remove Duplicates?" is defaulted to checked. Removing this check allows for duplicate messages to be sent.
Extra Credit: In the next screen that shows the table columns and descriptions, you can (potentially, depending upon design) highlight the column and/or row you want to keep duplicates.
With this in place, we would be able to send custom messages to a manager, for example, who may have changes for multiple direct reports.
**Manager** | **Employee** | **Data** |
Tony Stark | Bruce Banner | 1234 |
Steve Rogers | Donald Blake | 5678 |
Steve Rogers | Hank Pym | 9101 |
Steve Rogers | Cliff Barton | 1121 |
In the above scenario, Steve Rogers would receive 3 individual mails with their employees and their new data.
Thank you for your idea. We will discuss this with our Development team.
