Sending a mass email can be a very anxiety-inducing thing! Especially when sending to thousands of people! Having a confirmation screen that shows details like FROM address, number of recipients, send date, file size, etc, would help to ease this anxiety. Similar to when you purchase something online. You put your order in the cart, then hit continue. You get a final chance to review everything (in this case to view that it has properly been uploaded to the PM system and that all details of the send are correct) before finally hitting the send button.
This could also be implemented so that regardless of whether you are sending immediately, or scheduling a send, you would be able to view these details before sending.
As part of this, though I doubt this is possible, even changing the "Send" button to "Add to PM" or "Next" or something that would show the user that the email is not being sent immediately as it normally does through Outlook.
