This idea has been merged into another idea. To comment or vote on this idea, please visit POLITEMAIL-I-105 Add PoliteMail drop down functionality when sending calendar invites.
If you send a calendar invite through PoliteMail and have unchecked the options in Outlook to restrict users from requesting responses, allowing new time proposal or allow them to forward, these setting do not hold; users can request responses, allow new time proposal and forward the invite. This seems like a bug but after speaking with PoliteMail support it is operating as it was designed therefore I am submitting it as a new idea.
It's been a while since this idea was added, so I'm going to add a comment today in the hopes that this idea can be reconsidered. We are having the same issues - it is not possible for calendar invitations sent through PoliteMail to:
Restrict responses
Forward the invite to others
Suggest a different time
Edit a private meeting when sent from a shared Outlook mailbox.
Basically, we need all the options for calendar invites to be available and supported when using PoliteMail to send a calendar invite.
Thank you for reconsidering!
Thank you for your idea. We will share it with the Development Team.
