We cannot send email invitations using PoliteMail because the link to launch the meeting is tracked. This is problematic due to throttling...if we have a large meeting (like a meeting hosted by the CEO), too many people try to access the link at the same time, so many people receive an error and we get lots of support calls and frustrated people who are late for the meeting (or just give up and don't attend). I would like the ability to remove tracking from a link so we could still use PoliteMail for meeting invitations.
Hi, Tonya! We've updated the KB Article to reflect the change that is needed for Teams meetings. Thank you so much for bringing this to our attention!
Hi, Tonya! We are looking into a solution for this, as I can see the same thing happening for me.
I was finally able to test this again to confirm, but now I can safely state that this solution does not work for Teams meeting links. When I append the link as noted in the link provided, the Teams meeting will not open. So although this solution will work for 'regular' links, it does not solve our issue since it seems to break the Teams meeting links. Therefore, I would like to reopen my idea, please. Thank you!
Hi, Tonya! We have a knowledgebase article on this. Hope this is helpful!
