The ability to prioritize emails in the queue via Scheduled Sends would be a great enhancement for PoliteMail.
We had an email that needed to be sent out immediately but it was behind several other emails in the queue. Ideally, I would have been able to move the email ahead of the other less critical emails.
Instead, I ended up deleting emails from the queue that were higher and had communicators resend after mine went out.
Hello: PoliteMail does currently offer two ways for you to prioritize emails in Scheduled Sends. The first would be to change the time of the message. If you need to prioritize a message, you could hit Edit and then change that message's send time so that it goes out immediately.
The second way would be to disable the other messages. If you click the Edit button next to the other messages, and then uncheck the second column (the one with the envelop and stop watch) the message will become disabled. It will stay in scheduled sends until you re-enable it by checking the box. If you re-enable it after its scheduled send time, it will go out immediately.
Please note that these methods do not work if the messages are already in the progress of being sent.
We have notified our development team to label the Enable/Disable column with text and provide a text hint if the user hovers over it. We have also updated our documentation to explain these procedures. https://support.politemail.com/hc/en-us/articles/360026455634
Thank you.
Thank you for your idea submission. We will forward this to our development team for review.
